ZAN is "Beech" in English and "Hêtre" in French
It was chosen because it almost sounds the same when pronounced in most languages. The minuscule (f) indicates the term Furniture.

Revive and re-interpret traditional craft techniques from the Higaz Region of Saudi Arabia, and its sphere of cultural influence (Egypt, Syria, Iraq, India, and Indonesia to name a few).
Apply new technologies and produce modern interpretations of everyday contemporary objects.
Create a contemporary vocabulary by mixing Traditional motifs with natural materials.
